Just got a Small Stone

Finally picked up a small stone (russian), got it for pretty cheap. This thing rocks! Def the phaser I've been needing.

It's kind of beat up, and was dirty to boot. I opened her up, cleaned everything, was a pain as some parts were rusted. The only thing is, I seem to have found an "in-between version" or something. Mine has the same enclosure, and more importantly, the same circuit as the v2, yet the screening is from the v3...almost like it was one of the later v2's/earlier v3's.

Cool man, nice catch! Those old green Sovtek versions are nice! I also had one for repair that was different than the one presented in the article, I took some pics of it, I'll try to update the article at some point. The logo on the front was narrower and the letters had no roundings as they do on the version in the artcle. Soundwise they were pretty similar, although I wasn't able to make a side-by-side comparison since I've already sold the previous one.
